Have you heard about our lord and savior Realm?

I wanted to have a bit of fun with the title, but really; I think everyone and their grandma heard about the launch of Realm when it happened last week. The Finnish startup ecosystem has lacked a team it can champion behind. I think Realms has high potential to be one of the next great startup stories out of Finland!

The Co-Founding trio of Miika Huttunen (Co-Founder of VES, Ex CEO of Slush, Ex EIR Lifeline Ventures), Mikko Mäntylä (Ex-President of Slush), and Johan Jern (Ex Pipe, Palantir, Stripe and Smartly) feels like a dream team for any Finnish startup. While they are building in a hyper-competitive space, going against the likes of Microsoft, they seem to have the right approach to building their product and company.

I guess that’s why they have also gotten the best investors in Finland on board for what they are building, Lifeline ventures, Ilkka Paananen, Miki Kuusi, Oskari Saarenmaa, Kristo Ovaska Robert Gentz, and Anssi Rusi are just some of the names who put their dollars to the pre-seed round of Realm

I can’t wait for what lies in the future of Realm!
